Cybersecurity Specialization in the MCA (In association with EC Council)

The field of cyber security is quickly developing. Companies are vying for employees who can safeguard their networks and information as the potential of cyberattacks is higher than ever. A research claims that between 2016 and 2018, India had a startling 675% rise in incidences of cybercrime covered by the IT Act, 2000. According to another estimate, at least one cyber-crime was reported in India every nine minutes in 2019, up from every twelve minutes in 2018.

Due to the rapid pace of development, cyber security professionals must keep up with not only the newest tools and gadgets, but also the most recent trends and advancements in the field. By 2020, India alone would require more than a million cyber security specialists, according to NASSCOM. However, it is not unexpected that India has such a high demand for cyber security professionals.

With the support of globally recognised certifications from EC-Council (the largest Cyber Security Technical Certification Body in the world), MCA programmes with a focus on cyber security seek to close this supply-demand gap.
